The system

Inclinel is a modular chain of accelerometers, distributed along a structural tube up to 50 m long. Each module continuously measures tilt and temperature, transmitting data to the cloud with automatic threshold alerts. It requires no scheduled maintenance.

Two models, one platform

The chain is configured with 2 axes (X, Y) or 3 axes (X, Y, Z), depending on whether tilt needs to be monitored on a single plane or including out-of-plane rotations. The rest of the system, electronics and software, stays the same.

One chain, many measurement points

Up to 8 biaxial accelerometer modules, or 5 triaxial modules, connected on the same chain, each with an integrated temperature sensor: a single installation provides the tilt profile along the entire structure.

Data Transmission

Data is transmitted via NB-IoT to the cloud, with configuration and firmware updates via Bluetooth (BLE). The system integrates with third-party MQTT brokers or TCP servers.

04 / Data transmission

  1. Sensors → electronic unit Accelerometer modules and thermometric sensors connected to the acquisition unit at the top of the chain, with pre-assembled protected cables inside the tube.
  2. Unit → cloud platform Transmission over NB-IoT (3GPP Release 13+), MQTT / MQTTs / TCP / UDP protocol. Compatible with any MQTT broker or TCP server.
  3. Configuration From a mobile app over Bluetooth 5.1 or remotely via NB-IoT downlink. Firmware updates OTA over BLE.

The visualisation and control platform is customisable and allows alert and alarm thresholds to be set and integration with third-party systems.

Battery life Several power options are available: a high-capacity lithium-thionyl-chloride battery, a LiPo battery with solar panel, or external 5–12 VDC supply. Battery life is sized to the configuration and the data transmission rate; it is not a fixed value.
