At the Jindal Trieste Test Plant, the Ducto system was installed on DN 700 ductile iron pipes within a test environment capable of simulating both normal operating conditions and scenarios involving significant pipe failure. The tests yielded very positive results, highlighting the high quality of the acquired data. The sensor proved capable of accurately tracking pressure variations in the pipe, confirming the reliability of the measurement system.
The tests confirmed the system’s effectiveness in monitoring pipe behaviour, validating its use in real-world operational applications as well.
