Monitoring of an overpass and a bridge in the province of Bologna

In Bologna, SuperMicron sensors have been installed for structural monitoring on two city bridges, one in Via Emilia, San Lazzaro, and the other in Via Santa Caterina di Quarto, as part of road infrastructure management and maintenance works. Rekeep S.p.A., which operates on behalf of Bologna Strade in the routine and special management of civil engineering works in the city, coordinated the installation of the sensors to ensure continuous monitoring of deformations. Thanks to their advanced technology and ease of integration, the SuperMicron devices enable real-time data acquisition on the behaviour of bridges under traffic and in varying environmental conditions. This structural monitoring represents a significant step forward in improving the safety, durability and planning of maintenance work on critical infrastructure elements within the urban area.
